For over 20 years\, Scott Bailey has served as the regional economist for the Employment Security Department's Labor Market and Economic Analysis Branch covering Southwest Washington. He publishes a monthly newsletter on local economic  trends\, and works closely with economic development and workforce development organizations in the region. Bailey has done extensive research on wages in the state and is the author of the annual "Washington Wage Report". He is a national trainer with the Census Bureau for the local employment dynamics database.
